I just love Wordpress! Why? It is free and becoming one of the best content management systems (CMS) on the web and Wordpress SEO is so easy to perform. OK that may be a bold statement and yes there are some CMS out there that are far better at creating beautiful websites, however, not everyone can afford to purchase such systems.

As an SEO company it is important to use tools that work and do not upset Google, in other words ethical search engine optimisation. So I decided to use a standard system that offered ease of use for any staff members and yet highly optimizable for myself; then I met Wordpress.

Wordpress SEO is so easy, you just create web pages as normal and post, however what about the meta tags? These can be done in two ways, one is to use “include” tags that draw in the name of the page and maybe the name of the blog and mix these with other text to create tags that are different on every page. The other way is to use the Wordpress All in One SEO Pack. This gives you the chance to add individual tags for the Title, Description and Keywords for every page.

Obviously Wordpress SEO does not just stop at Meta tags, with wordpress you can use page templates as you would when creating other websites and make sure that everything is how you want it; all the alt images and height tags etc being in place.
