Comic Books

When you think of Comic Books you may think of old favourites such The Beano, Batman or Superman. However, there are many different types of comics ranging from those based on popular TV shows to children’s publications. Comic books have always been popular to the point where some people now buy, sell and collect them in a similar way to stamp collecting.

Hardback versions of these comic books normally appear once a year around Christmas time and are called annuals. These are normally quite high on children’s and teenagers shopping lists and make great presents as they are amusing or informative and relatively inexpensive. Although tastes have changed, Comic Books look set to remain a popular part of young people’s culture.
