T-Mobile G1 Handset

According to the BBC, the first mobile telephone using Google’s Android software has been unveiled. Set to be run by the operator T-Mobile, the T-Mobile G1 Handset should be available in the UK in time for Christmas. T-Mobile has stated that the T-Mobile G1 phone will be free on any tariff over £40 a month.

The T-Mobile G1 handset run by the Google Android software will come with a touch screen, Qwerty keyboard, a three megapixel camera, a one click contextual search with a browser that allows users to zoom in on by tapping the screen. The T-Mobile G1 handset will also be 3G enabled and have Wi-Fi.
