Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises is owned by Carnival Corporation and run in the UK by Complete Cruise Solution from Southampton. Princess Cruises has had links with P&O Cruises for many years and offer the same standard of cruise, though where as P&O Cruises are traditional in style; Princess Cruises has a more relaxed American style. That said, they do still have the traditional formal nights, though with their dining innovation of freedom dining, you do not have to be sat at your table every night at a certain time.

Starting in 1966 with just one ship, Princess Pat as she became affectionately known, Princess Cruises are now one of the biggest cruise lines in the world and are the proud owners of 17 ships, many built since 2000. Like Oceania Cruises and Azamara Cruises, Princess benefited by the demise of Renaissance Cruises and now operates three of the R class ships, small 30,277 ton vessels that are so popular among the cruising fraternity. At the other end of the scale, more than half the ships in the fleet are post 2000 and are large 100,000 plus ton monsters

Having such a large fleet Princess Cruises offer cruises to more 270 destinations on 90 differing itineraries.
