Carnival Cruise Line

Carnival Cruise Line often shortened to Carnival Cruises is the largest cruise line in the world and part of the Carnival Corporation, a conglomerate of cruise lines including Costa Cruises, Cunard Cruises, Holland America, Ocean Village, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises and the 5* cruise line Yachts of Seabourn as well as many more well known names among the cruising fraternity.

Carnival Cruise Line had a poor start when their first ship beached on a sandbank out of Miami on its first voyage. Carnival Cruises were well known as a party style cruise line, a stigma they have spent years and billions of dollars to try and remove. Nowadays their ships are large floating 4* hotels that are a match for any cruise line in their class. The style is typically American and the company has spent millions recently refurbishing their ships and renaming all but two to include the name Carnival.

A first for Carnival Cruises came with the announcement that Carnival Splendour will be the first Carnival Cruise Line ship to be home ported in the UK.
