There are numerous Cruises Destinations these days, the usual ex UK haunts of the Baltic's, the Norwegian Fjords or the Mediterranean Sea, though this is better served on a fly cruise as this takes out the dreaded Bay of Biscay and about 4 days of cruising with nothing to except explore the ship. Other more common cruise destinations include the Caribbean, Alaska and the Panama Canal. However things are changing and cruise lines are introducing other places of interest including South Africa, the Far East, Australasia and even Dubai in their itineraries as the seek to offer their clients the best choices of cruise destinations.

Although most cruise lines are turning to large 100,000 ton plus cruise ships these days, there is still a market for the smaller ships such as the ex Renaissance R class of cruise ship. At 30,277 tons these ships are large enough to offer great facilities, but small enough for some ports where the larger ships can't get to, there by offering more choice of cruise destinations.
