All Inclusive Cruises were once the home to some of the 5 star cruise lines only. Now though, smaller 3 star cruise lines such as Island Cruises offer them as an incentive to book early.
Often people associate cruising as great for food; after all they are full board but expensive for drinks. With all inclusive cruises, everything is included, hence the name. But are they really worth it?
With Island Cruises, once the early booking period has gone (normally only for the Island Escape) they will sometimes offer a fully inclusive package for £149 per person per week. What you need to decide is, will you drink £20 worth of drink a day? If you like a drink, then it is worth it, if you are a casual drinker, then the answer is a definite no.
So before you fall into the trap of buying any package, ask to see the on board prices, most cruise companies display these on their websites or will send you a copy if you wish to see them. However when it is part of package for booking early, then the All Inclusive Cruises are great value.
