African Cruises tend to use smaller older ships as Africa has not really caught on in the world of cruising. One major player, whose company operates in the UK is the African Safari Club, who regularly has cruises between Kenya and South Africa offering stays at each end of the cruise if the clients wish.
As more and more ships are being built, there is no doubt that cruise lines are seeking more places to plough their trade and Africa could be just the place.
