Royal Caribbean is working alongside the Jamaican Port Authority in a bid to develop the Falmouth cruise port in Jamaica so that Oasis of the Seas can visit the port when she starts her Western Caribbean cruises in May 2010.

This is not the first time that Royal Caribbean have worked with a port authority, they did so with Southampton where they spent £10m to upgrade their terminal to accommodate Independence of the Seas.

I was wandering how much value there is in the websites I own? The unwritten premise in that statement is how do I value them and which is worth the most? I assume the one that would give me the greatest return would be if I put the Royal Caribbean Cruise up for sale, which is probably the valuable, so how much would I get for it?

With more than 4,000 visitors a month at 25p a click (using PPC as a way of determining a value) would value the site at £1000 per month (the amount a company would need to spend to get the same number of hits). In business often 1.5 times income is a good place to start, so this would mean that the Royal Caribbean site could be worth £18,000. The real cost per click is about 40p (using AdWords) so perhaps it is worth more?

This post will be added to in the morning but a passing note, if I was offered £10,000 would I sell? I will let you know tomorrow.

These domains are currently parked with the cheap hosting company Hostasitehere, where they were purchased at a cost of £3.54, which is pretty good value for dot Com’s. They will be updated soon when more details are available about the Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.

This is all part of the Cruise project mentioned in a previous post re Drabdesign Moves Cruise Section and the cruise search box is shown below. Before you ask, yes it does work…I hope!
