Chartered Accountants Petersfield Update

I am afraid I still am as of yet to get around to creating the Chartered Accountants Petersfield page in my new business directory. However we do now have a holding page, though it is not Chartered Accountants Petersfield, but  Accountants Petersfield.

We are looking at revised prices for inclusion and feel either a fee of £150 per annum with no set up fees is ideal or a £50 set up fee followed by £15 per month.

Once our Chartered Accountants Petersfield page is set up, I guess I will have to search on Google to try and find someone to fill that page!

Music Teacher in Petersfield

I have had a great chat to a Mr Thompson a Music Teacher in Petersfield who runs PASSO a website dedicated to the Petersfield Area Schools String Orchestra.

Mr Thompson has been teaching my son the Cello for a number of years and is the best Music Teacher in Petersfield.

Petersfield First Friday Club

What is it about Petersfield and me? The best of Petersfield seem to think I am not worthy, or is it that I will not pay? I tried to join the Petersfield First Friday Club and have heard nothing!

Last month I called a local graphic design Petersfield company and they never got back to me, however that was on the first Friday of last month…conspiracy theory starting to be created now!

So to all memebers of the Petersfield First Friday Club, just to say if you would like a page in my new Business Directory, with a page optimised just for you (we will only have one company from any niche in any town), you can have it for half price, just £100, no set up fees, just £100 per annum plus vat.

The Best of Petersfield Update

Well it has been a week since I applied to The Best of Petersfield, yet I have heard nothing? Maybe my site does not reach their exacting standards, or maybe they know I will not pay to join their directory! I still think they are not being 100% honest with people when they ask them to recommend someone yet will only accept people into the directory if they pay.

Well the ImAfter business directory is starting to really take shape so I will not actually need The Best of Petersfield.

The Best of Petersfield

I wonder how many others received a mail shot from The Best of Petersfield a couple of weeks ago? Well just before the recycle people decided to empty my bin I thought I would take one more look.

On the leaflet there is the chance to win £500 by informong them of business for their directory. Once you register you fill in the details on the Best of Petersfield website about the company you want to recommend; the following message appears on another page.

“Thank you for your recommendation.

We love it when local people become involved with thebestof and we really appreciate you taking the time.

We’ll get in touch with the business and make sure that they meet the exacting standards of thebestof. All being well you’ll see them featured on the site very soon.”

How many have been sucked into this? I wonder! This is not a directory that is free, this is a paid directory and it costs £149 plus VAT to join and £29 plus VAT a month. So why do the Best of Petersfield say “We’ll get in touch with the business and make sure that they meet the exacting standards of thebestof. All being well you’ll see them featured on the site very soon”? If the company does not pay the money, they will not get in. So what standards do the best of Petersfield use to measure a companies ability?

If I am wrong on this I will retract that statement about The Best of Petersfield, however if every company in Petersfield applies, lets see who gets in for free!

Kitchen Design Petersfield

My staff and I have spent two hours walking around Petersfield doing research, I found it surprising that for the term Kitchen Design Petersfield a certain directory has more than one client paying £29 per month for the term.
