With Thompson Cruises new brochure comes news that Thomson Cruises from Southampton are on the cards in 2009, well OK it there are only two of them. A 12 night Idyllic Iberia Cruise on 19th September 2009, followed by the repositioning cruise an 8 night Spirit of Iberia Cruise from Southampton to Palma.

Strictly Come Cruising
Ice dancers Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova are spending a second season cruising on board Thomson Cruises Thomson Celebration. The cruises are centred on the Canary Island and take place between January and February 2009.
Island Cruises Exotic Caribbean
Island Cruises have added a one off 15 night Exotic Caribbean Cruise starting on 25th March 2010 visiting Guadeloupe, Dominica, Santa Dominica and St Barts on the way. The first three islands mentioned are a first for Island Cruises.
Braemar Fred Olsen Extended
Braemar of Fred Olsen rejoined the fleet in July 2008 after being extended by some 31m adding an additional 223 berths to the ship. Another of the Fred Olsen cruise ships was stretched before joining the fleet; Balmoral added 400 berths with a slightly smaller 30m extension.
Ocean Village Cruises Presents
Ocean Village Cruises Presents a couple of new a couple of new features for their younger audience with the chance of learning how to be a TV presenter, being taught to read autocue and conduct an interview. While for the younger ladies there is a new Girls Night in session where for £20 they can learn how to put on make up and style their hair.

Oasis of the Seas on Sale
The worldwide sale of Oasis of the Seas took place during the week with thousands of people the world over ready to pounce on the phones to book one of the 5,400 spaces on her first cruise out of Fort Lauderdale in 2009.
Oasis of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship in the world when she joins the Royal Caribbean fleet in 2009.
Christmas in the Canaries Cruise
Balmoral, the newest addition to the Fred Olsen fleet will be spending her first Christmas in the Canaries on a 15 night ‘Christmas in the Canaries Cruise’. She will depart Dover on 20th December 2008 and travel to the Canaries and West Africa. Ports of call include Gibraltar on Christmas Eve, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Funchal for New Years Eve and New Years Day before returning to Dover on 4th January 2009.
