As mentioned on Cruisegle, our Cruise website, is for sale and we are hoping it might interest the likes of Iglu Cruises, Voyana Cruises and Barrhead Travel Cruises, though I doubt that it will.

In the last two months we have worked very hard on the website and it is now ranking very high for terms like Bargain Cruises, Cheap Cruises, Discount Cruises and also Last Minute Cruises. Add to that its rise month on month in numbers of visitors; its great name, Cruisegle and that it is respected by Google and it really has some value, it just needs a little time to finish it, that’s all!

Anyway if anyone wants to buy this Cheap Cruises website including Iglu Cruises, Voyana Cruises and Barrhead Travel Cruises, please contact me via email.

I see on Cruisegle, the Cheap Cruises website they name Barrheadtravel as a company that has three positions within Google for the term Cheap Cruises. Why do they need so many and is it time that Google looks at this domination or not?

Cheap Cruises or Not

If you search for Cheap Cruises, you may think that Google will give you a list of all the cheapest cruise travel agents, this is wrong. They give you the results of all those who either have the best search engine optimization or the best link structure. Now I know you will say that link structure is part of search engine optimisation, but is this the case here?

Take a look at the term cheap cruises, in the top 5 of the results for that term, three websites actually belong to one company, therefore are you actually getting what you want from Google, or are you getting the same thing served up differently? I am leaving these questions unanswered, for now and am going to go back and search for more cheap cruises.

Independence of the Seas or Independence of the Sea

Just found a great blog post on whether it is Independence of the Seas or Independence of the Sea on the unofficial Royal Caribbean Cruise website.

For search engine optimization purposes, that s makes a lot of difference. As they say, it is officially Independence of the Seas.

Iglu Cruises

There are many types of cruises available to the cheap cruises enthusiast, some go to the Med for, wait for it, Med Cruises, others go to Alaska for cruises around the glaziers. This begs the question is this where Iglu Cruises gets their name from? Maybe not, however I love the name.

It will soon be that time of year when cruise ships from cruise line such as Royal Caribbean will be repositioning their ships for summer cruises. If you wish to see Iglu’s mind, you may be hard pressed as there is no such thing as Iglu Cruises, after all they will melt in the sea!

Ocean Village Axed

Ocean Village Cruises is to be axed as Carnival rearrange their operation.

Even though Island Cruises has been sold by Royal Caribbean, this was not enough to save Ocean Village Cruises and they will be run down with both ships switching to P&O Cruises Australia.

According to Carnival, they feel the UK market will be better served with the current P&O Cruises fleet which is set to expand when Azure joins them in March 2010.

Cunard, one of the other Carnival owned cruise lines are also set to get a new ship, the Queen Elizabeth in 2010.

There are so many different types of cruise to choose from and with that, however I feel, there is one to suit my current mood for writing about.

Island Cruises Sold

Island Cruises Sold, was on many cruisers minds today as Royal Caribbean have announced that the joint venture originally with First Choice and subsequently TUI is to be ended.

The break up will see Island Escape move to Thomson Cruises while Island Star, the better of the two Island Cruises ships and already owned by Royal Caribbean moving to Pullmantur.

Will this be the last cruise line to be sold or will we wake up to more news such as todays “Island Cruises Sold!”
