We have just updated two websites offering up to date Cruise News and Flights News. These websites are part of a Cruise network and Holiday network and offer a mixture of press releases and sourced new stories including today’s items such as the sad Spanish air crash.
Each day the Cruise news and Flights news sites are updated and are never more than a few hours out of date.

I have just updated one of my Cruise Holidays websites called Cruisegle. Finally I have a site I like the look of and will update other sites over the next few days.
Just to say the images of the Cruise Ships on the Cruise Holidays website were taken by my bother Frank, while on one of his many Cruise Holidays with Celebrity Cruises.

I have just changed the structure of the posts on this blog and added yet more redirects (do not like too many). These Search Engine Optimization changes are necessary, I feel adding long tail (or short ones) to the URL really can have a big effect on Search Engine Optimization.
So the Royal Caribbean Cruise Up For Sale URL now has the words Royal Caribbean Cruise Up For Sail in it, this will enhance its Search Engine Optimization, hopefully!

I was wandering how much value there is in the websites I own? The unwritten premise in that statement is how do I value them and which is worth the most? I assume the one that would give me the greatest return would be if I put the Royal Caribbean Cruise up for sale, which is probably the valuable, so how much would I get for it?
With more than 4,000 visitors a month at 25p a click (using PPC as a way of determining a value) would value the site at £1000 per month (the amount a company would need to spend to get the same number of hits). In business often 1.5 times income is a good place to start, so this would mean that the Royal Caribbean site could be worth £18,000. The real cost per click is about 40p (using AdWords) so perhaps it is worth more?
This post will be added to in the morning but a passing note, if I was offered £10,000 would I sell? I will let you know tomorrow.

As part of the Cruises network, Drabdesign has purchased two new domain names, Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, the names given to the two new Royal Caribbean cruise ships due in service in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
These domains are currently parked with the cheap hosting company Hostasitehere, where they were purchased at a cost of £3.54, which is pretty good value for dot Com’s. They will be updated soon when more details are available about the Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.

I have just finishing updating my Royal Caribbean Cruise website adding a couple of cruise search boxes for the Cheap Cruises website CruiseVIP. I am quite please with the new design and hope it will attract people to buy some cruises as that is the only way I will get paid on the project.
This is all part of the Cruise project mentioned in a previous post re Drabdesign Moves Cruise Section and the cruise search box is shown below. Before you ask, yes it does work…I hope!

Although the pages where ranking well, Drabdesign has taken the step to remove many of its Cruise pages and place them in their new Cruise-s.co.uk website.
Though this means that their SERP will drop, our long term search engine optimization goal is to rank highly with the Cruises website. The new pages can be found at:
African Safari Club
Carnival Cruises
Celebrity Cruises
Costa Cruises
Cunard
Holland America
Island Cruises
MSC Cruises
NCL
Ocean Village
P&O Cruises
Princess Cruises
Pullmantur
Regent
Royal Caribbean Cruise
Thomson Cruises
We shall keep up to date with the Cruises site search engine optimization progress.

I am not sure if anyone saw that Cruise.co.uk bought the domain name of Cruises.co.uk for a reported $1,000,000 well always on the lookout for value, I have purchased Cruise-s.co.uk as this site could potentially challenge the other two sites at some point in the future for their main terms of Cruise and Cruises. It is now optimized for the terms Cruise Holidays, Cruise Deals and Cheap Cruises.
At some point I will add a cruise search box for our client Cruise VIP.

After much waiting for Traveltek to sort out a few backend problems, the Cheap Cruises website of Cruise VIP is finally live for selling cruises. It has numerous top 30 rankings on Google after having a Drabdesign designed optimized holding page up for two months while the final site was being created.
This proves once and for all that all those who say do not put anything live until it is finished are wrong.
