It is surprising how big a business the Door Closers business is, I have just spoken to a nice couple in the business and quoted them on how much it would cost to optimise their Door Closers website.

Well technically it is not just door closers they do, they also sell Panic Hardware, Digital Locks and Sliding Door Gear.

What I am now going to do, after my Coffee and Sandwich is to look at their keywords and see what I think about the terms Door Closers, Panic Hardware, Digital Locks and Sliding Door Gear, before reporting back to them.

 

Brass Threaded Inserts

I had a great conversation today with a gent who has a website that sells many types of Brass Threaded Inserts. On checking out their website I could not believe how many different types of brass threaded inserts there are. Take my word for it, loads!

I am now looking into whether we might do some work on this website, it would be interesting; although I am afraid my knowledge of threaded inserts is small. This though has never stopped me from gaining high positions before; I remember having to write about structural insulated panels for a client, what are they? Well they are what are found in the walls of Garden Offices.

This project could be interesting and I would really like to get them to the top for Brass Threaded Inserts.

Moroccan Tiles

One of our clients is a Moroccan Tiles specialist, they have just been overtaken for the term Moroccan Tiles by a company whose whole link structure is via doorway pages. The company doing the optimisation are now second for the term Moroccan tiles, yet every single page in their directory is full of hidden links. Their name Get Marketed. I am now going to write a report and paste it for all to see.

Companies like this are using Black Hat techniques to gain an advantage and although I reported it more than 6 months ago, I am small and Google has ignored me. They will not now and by the end of next week Habibi Interiors will be in their rightful place, at the top of Google for the term Moroccan Tiles!

I am not sure if anyone saw that Cruise.co.uk bought the domain name of Cruises.co.uk for a reported $1,000,000 well always on the lookout for value, I have purchased Cruise-s.co.uk as this site could potentially challenge the other two sites at some point in the future for their main terms of Cruise and Cruises. It is now optimized for the terms Cruise Holidays, Cruise Deals and Cheap Cruises.

We are no longer working with Cruise VIP.

Cruise VIP is now Live

After much waiting for Traveltek to sort out a few backend problems, the Cheap Cruises website of Cruise VIP is finally live for selling cruises. It has numerous top 30 rankings on Google after having a Drabdesign designed optimized holding page up for two months while the final site was being created.

This proves once and for all that all those who say do not put anything live until it is finished are wrong.

We are no longer doing Cruise VIP as we are optimising our own cruise website.

Met a potential new client who is in the niche of Professional Translation Services. My pitch took about an hour and low and behold when he searched for Search Engine Optimization I had dropped from second to eleventh!

I explained there has been some issues within Google data centres, well in my opinion there has been. When I got back to the office I did a little checking to find:

 

 

 

Well a years hard work wasted? Nope just another miss cache and later in the day an earlier cache showed up and is now being used by Google.

Also would like to say congratulations to Aldershot Town who drew tonight and are back in the Football League after 16 years in the wilderness.
